Files overview

Files is available in Manage and gives you direct access to files in your Peak data lake. The interface mirrors your data lake structure so you can view and manage files without leaving Peak.

Home folders

The Files home screen includes the following folders:

  • datascience - Used mainly for processed and intermediate data.
  • mlflow - Used for files generated by Model Management.
  • output - Used for output data, including downloadable insights.
  • uploads - Contains files uploaded directly through ad hoc upload.
  • raw - Staging location for data feeds.
  • adhoc_file_exploration - Contains files uploaded for SQL Explorer exploration.

Use the breadcrumb path at the top of the screen to move up through the folder structure.

To search for files or folders, enter a full or partial name in the search bar. Search results are limited to the folder scope you are currently viewing.

Manage folders, uploads, and feeds

Files supports folder and file operations directly from the interface:

  • Create and delete folders in locations where you have write access.
  • Upload and delete files in locations where you have the required permissions.
  • Create file feeds from file actions.

For step-by-step procedures, see:
