About commercial pricing solution
Introduction to Commercial Pricing
Commercial Pricing helps industrial manufacturers and distributors transform their quote-to-order process. It automates the extraction, pricing, and response of inbound Requests for Quote (RFQs), reducing quote cycle times from hours or days to minutes, whilst improving win rates and margins.
It provides sales teams with the tools they need to optimize every quote negotiation, leveraging AI models to pinpoint the optimal balance between profitability and conversion and delivering a step-change in three areas: quote cycle time, quote conversion rate and margin.
Commercial Pricing is designed for Industrial Manufacturing & Distribution businesses that run high-volume, sales-led quoting processes. It is particularly well-suited to Made-to-Order (MTO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) environments, where quoting is repeatable but pricing is negotiated and customer-specific.
The solution focuses on generating pricing recommendations and insights. Teams use these outputs to inform pricing decisions in their existing enterprise systems, whilst retaining control over how and when pricing changes are applied.
Scope and responsibilities
The UiPath solution for commercial pricing is designed to support pricing decision-making.
Price execution, such as updating price lists, quotes, or promotions, is typically handled by existing enterprise systems. This solution complements those systems by integrating directly with them, helping teams decide what pricing actions to take and why.
