Maestro Automate user guide

Licensing for administrators

How Maestro Automate runs are metered in a company account: included runs per plan, the units consumed beyond them, what's billed separately, and what each user license allows.

This page is for administrators who manage licensing for a company's UiPath account. Pricing gives builders the short version.

Included runs

Maestro Automate is metered per run, which is one time a deployed workflow runs from start to end. Each plan includes a number of runs per month at no extra cost.

PlanIncluded runs per month
Enterprise Platform (Unified Pricing) or Advanced Platform (Flex Plan)50,000
Standard Platform10,000
No platform tier (Flex Plan)2,500

Runs beyond the allowance

Each run beyond the monthly allowance consumes units, the credits that Automation Cloud uses to meter usage. The unit depends on your organization's pricing model.

Pricing modelUnitConsumed per run
Unified PricingPlatform Units0.05
Flex PlanAI & Agent Units0.25

Building, testing in debug mode, and running evaluations don't consume runs or units.

What's billed separately

Some nodes call other UiPath services, which are metered by their own licensing, whether or not the run is within the allowance:

  • AI agents, such as the Autonomous Agent node.
  • Document processing, such as the Extract node.
  • Autopilot.

Calls to other apps through connections aren't charged.

What each user license allows

Unlicensed and Express are user license types that give limited access without a paid seat.

What the user doesUnlicensed or Express user
Build Maestro Automate workflows, agents, and Maestro processesAllowed
Deploy to shared folders and the tenant from Studio Web or VS CodeAllowed

Use Intelligent Xtraction and Processing (IXP) for document processingRequires a license
Deploy more than one workflow in a Personal WorkspaceRequires a license
Use Action Center for human stepsRequires a license

Action Center licensing and Action Center licensing under the Flex Plan describe the licenses for human steps.

Fair use

Usage is monitored against fair-use thresholds, which aren't enforced. Limits and fair use describes the limits that apply to each run.
