Google Drive

Look up the Google Drive connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Google Drive connection.

The Google Drive connector lets a workflow manage files and folders in Google Drive. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Google Drive. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.

Actions

Each action is a node that does one thing in Google Drive.

ActionWhat it does
Apply File LabelsApply label to the selected file.
Clear File Label FieldsClear selected fields of a label associated with the file.
Copy FileCopy File from one folder to another.
Create FolderCreate Folder at a specific location.
Delete File or FolderDelete File or Folder from Google Drive.
Download FileDownload File.
Get Drive LabelsGet the labels defined in Google Drive.
Get File LabelsGet File Labels.

Upload FileUpload file to specified folder in Google Drive.

The panel also lists 5 actions marked (deprecated), which aren't listed here. Use the actions above instead.

Events

Each event can start a workflow, as a Connector trigger, or pause a run until it happens, as a Connector event. In the connector's list, events have the WAIT tag.

EventWhat it does
Existing Record DeletedTriggers when an existing record is deleted.
Existing Record UpdatedTriggers when an existing record was updated.
File CreatedTriggers when a new file is created in the drive.

Connection

A Google Drive node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, choose one of these sign-in methods:

Sign-in methodWhat you need
OAuth 2.0 Authorization codeThe email address and password of your Google account.
Bring your own OAuth 2.0 appThe client ID, client secret, and scopes of an app that you create in Google Cloud.
