About the Apple Numbers activities package

The Apple Numbers activities package allows you to automate reading and writing data in Apple Numbers spreadsheets. It provides activities that help you extract information, update cells, and manage tabular data within your Apple Numbers files.

These activities make it easy to integrate Apple Numbers into your automations to manage structured data efficiently and streamline spreadsheet operations on macOS.

Note:
  • If the file you are targeting is already open, the activities will use it. As expected, they will also not close it at the end. The activities that write data will save the changes after completing the work.
  • If the file you are targeting is not open, the activities will try to open it, execute, and then close it.
  • You can work directly with CSV files, in which case you will need to open the file before executing the activities.

Running the workflow

Note:
  • The Apple activities packages can only run on macOS machines with the respective programs installed.
  • The Apple Numbers package requires you to have the Apple Numbers application installed.

You can author workflows containing these activities using either Studio Desktop, using the Cross-platform project type, or StudioWeb.

Studio Web debugging

To debug the created workflows in Studio Web from a macOS machine, use the Debug on Local Machine button. This option requires you to have UiPath Assistant for Mac installed.

Studio Desktop debugging

To debug the created workflows in Studio Desktop, refer to Remote debugging.
