Maestro user guide
Maestro enables organizations to manage and orchestrate long-running, complex enterprise processes across AI agents, robots, and people, operating them at scale across systems of engagement and systems of record. This comprehensive solution supports the entire lifecycle of long-running business processes, including modeling, implementation, monitoring, operations, and optimization.
Target persona: Process owners (typically in business teams)
Description: Process owners can model their agentic processes using industry-standard notations such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and define business rules using notations like DMN (Decision Model and Notation). They can fully manage and govern the lifecycle of their Processes and Business Rules—covering creation, updates, version control, and retirement.
Target personas: Automation developers (typically in IT/Automation COE) and Agent/AI developers.
Description: Automation developers can implement the business processes and make them executable using the native capabilities of the UiPath platform, including RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and Agents. The agents can be natively built using the UiPath Agent Builder platform, or developed using other platforms. Agent/AI developers can leverage their skills to create robust and intelligent agent workflows using Maestro. These workflows will not only facilitate seamless integration between processes but also contribute to the level of autonomy and efficiency in the overall workflow.
Target persona: Process operations teams and admins
Description: Process operations teams and admins can monitor live instances of running processes, view execution heatmaps, debug instance failures and exceptions, and mitigate issues. They can also fix variables, pause, skip, rewind, or restart process instances as needed.
Target persona: Process excellence/analysis teams and process admins
Description: Process excellence and analysis teams can analyze the efficacy of their current processes, perform deep analysis such as process simulation, root cause analysis, and bottleneck detection, and identify opportunities to improve process design for increased efficiency. Process admins can update eligible instances of processes to new versions published by process owners.
