About the SAP OData connector

The SAP OData Connector enables a seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP C4C and other products of SAP using the OData API’s and external systems. The connector helps automate end-to-end processes like procure-to-pay (P2P) and order-to-cash (O2C), enhancing operational efficiency and data synchronization for streamlined business operations.

Authentication

Before automating processes, you need to establish a connection with your SAP OData instance. Step-by-step instructions are available in the SAP OData authentication page.

Events

This connector does not support events.

Activity package

You can use the connection to enable the SAP OData activities in UiPath® Studio.

Provider documentation

The UiPath connector is compatible with SAP Cloud for Customer and SAP S4 HANA OData API v2. Find out more from the SAP APIs documentation.

Frequently asked questions

Why do SAP OData or SAP BAPI connections fail with an “Invalid URL” or “Unknown host” error in Integration Service?

This typically happens when the SAP system endpoints are not reachable from UiPath Integration Service.

Integration Service runs in the cloud and requires SAP OData or SAP BAPI endpoints to be accessible over the public internet. If the SAP system is hosted in a private cloud or behind a firewall and is reachable only via VPN or internal network access, Integration Service will not be able to connect and may return errors such as Invalid URL or Unknown host.

Refer to Configuring the firewall for information about how to whitelist the required IPs.
