Test Cloud admin guide
The New Unit Consumption Experience supports data export at the organization and tenant levels. Exports are delivered as CSV files and include allocation data, consumption breakdowns by service, folder consumption, and process-level attribution data. The exported data supports chargeback reporting and capacity planning workflows. Exports always reflect the filters and time period selected on the screen at the time of export.
Prerequisites
- You must be an Organization Administrator to export organization-level and tenant-level data.
Exporting organization-level data
The organization-level export includes a snapshot of allocation and consumption data across all tenants for the selected unit type, scoped to the bundle interval.
- Go to Admin at the organization level and select Licenses.
- Select the Consumables tab.
- On the unit type card you want to export, select View Usage (Preview).
- Use the period picker to set the date range for the export. The picker defaults to the full bundle interval — the contracted period — which you can narrow by adjusting the start and end dates.
- Select Export in the Tenant Allocations section.
Result: A CSV file is downloaded to your device containing allocation and consumption data for all tenants within the selected time period.
Exporting tenant-level data
The tenant-level export includes detailed consumption analytics for a single tenant: monthly distribution, service-level breakdown, folder consumption, and process-level attribution.
- After selecting View Usage (Preview) on the appropriate unit type card, select View Tenant on the relevant tenant card from the Organization Level view.
- Use the period picker to set the date range for the export. The picker defaults to the full bundle interval — the contracted period — which you can narrow by adjusting the start and end dates.
- Select Custom Export in the Consumption Analytics section.
- On the Consumption Analytics - Custom export dialog, configure the following settings:
- Time Granularity: Choose between By Day, By Week, or By Month.
- Services: Choose Select all to include data on all services in your tenant or select specific services from the displayed list.
- Select Export.
Result: A CSV file is downloaded to your device. The file contains four data sections: distribution of consumption over time, consumption by service, folder consumption, and solutions and processes.
Exporting folder-level data
Folder-level export is available from the Folder Level view and covers the consumption of processes and subfolders within a single folder.
- From the Tenant Level view, in the Folder Consumption section, select the Details icon on the folder row to open the Folder Level view.
- Use the period picker to set the time period for the export.
- Select Export in the folder view.
Result: A CSV file is downloaded to your device containing consumption data scoped to the selected folder and its subfolders.
