Manage the Automation Hub service within Automation Cloud tenants, including the effects of disabling, deleting, or modifying tenants where the service is active.
Please find below the actions and consequences of managing the tenants where the Automation Hub service is enabled.
- Disabling an Automation Cloud tenant where the Automation Hub is enabled:
-
The Automation Hub license is released.
-
The following error message is displayed if the user tries to access the Automation Hub cloud URL
https://<accessURL>/account/tenant/automationhub_.
-
- Deleting an Automation Cloud tenant where the Automation Hub is enabled:
- The Automation Hub license is released.
- Creating a tenant with the same name as one that was deleted previously:
- If the Automation Hub service was enabled and provisioned for the initial tenant the Automation Hub service is automatically linked to the newly created tenant.
- The user does not need to complete again the provisioning process for the new tenant.
- When accessing the Automation Hub service the user will be redirected to the initial Automation Hub instance set up for the previous tenant.
- Adding a tenant with the same name as an existing one is not allowed regardless if the tenant is active or disabled.
- Re-enabling an Automation Cloud tenant where the Automation Hub is enabled:
- One Automation Hub is consumed.
- If all the licenses are already consumed at the time of the re-enabling the tenant remains in updating status. The Automation Hub option remains visible still, it does not display any information upon clicking.
