Get event

Overview

The Get Event activity calls the Microsoft Graph GetEvent API to retrieve an event (EventId) in your specified team (TeamId).

After completing the operation, the activity outputs the Event object (Event) that you can use as an input variable in subsequent activities.

How it works

The following steps and message sequence diagram is an example of how the activity works from design time (i.e., the activity dependencies and input/output properties) to run time.

  1. Complete the Setup steps.
  2. Add the Microsoft Teams Scope activity to your project.
  3. Add an activity or run an external process that outputs a Team.Id value (e.g., Get Teams).
  4. Add an activity or run an external process that outputs a Event.Id value (e.g., ).
  5. Add the Get Event activity inside the Microsoft Teams Scope activity.
  6. Enter values for the Input properties.
  7. Run the activity.
    • Your input property values are sent to the GetEvent API.

    • The API returns the Event object value to your output property variable.
