Documentation for Autopilot actions, the fixed pre-defined operations available across UiPath products.
Autopilot actions are fixed, pre-defined operations that you trigger from the UI. Each action takes a single input (a button click or a prompt) and returns a single result. There is no conversation, no session context, and no iterative loop.
Autopilot actions are available across multiple products and are not subject to usage pool consumption — they remain available without limits under all licensing models.
Available actions
Expressions (Studio Desktop, Studio Web, Apps)
- Generate expression — Create a VB.NET, C#, or JavaScript expression from a natural language description
- Fix expression — Correct syntax or logic errors in an existing expression

- Summarize activity — Generate a human-readable name for an activity based on its configuration

Test actions (Test Manager)
Test Manager offers a set of discrete, non-conversational actions for test management. Each is triggered from the Test Manager UI and returns a single result:
- Quality-check requirements — Evaluate requirements for clarity, completeness, and testability
- Generate tests for requirement — Create manual test cases from a requirement
- Import manual test cases — Import test cases from Excel
- Find obsolete tests — Detect tests that are no longer relevant
- Generate test reports — Generate reports from failed test executions, with visual insights into failure patterns
- Search Test Manager project — Search test cases, requirements, test sets, and defects using natural language
