Are there any additional charges incurred by using the Generative Extraction feature in CM?​ No, charges are only incurred at the point of message upload, that is, one message uploaded to Communications Mining™ is equal to 1 AI unit or 0.2 Platform Units. There are no ongoing costs for using any of the generative features of Communications Mining.​
What are the underlying models behind GenEx?​
  • A proprietary UiPath® LLM model, fine-tuned for communications data drives the UiPath Helix Extractor 1.0 (IXP-Comms) LLM .
  • Microsoft OpenAI LLM drives the UiPath Helix Extractor 2.0 (IXP-Comms) LLM, which relies on external LLM calls.

In which regions is UiPath Helix Extractor 1.0 (IXP-Comms) available? ​ UiPath Helix Extractor 1.0 (IXP-Comms) is retired in Singapore, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and EU GxP, where the model had no usage for a period of 3 to 6 months. The model is also in the process of being retired in Japan, Canada, and Australia. In the regions where it is retired, only the UiPath Helix Extractor 2.0 (IXP-Comms) LLM is available. What do I do if UiPath Helix Extractor 1.0 (IXP-Comms) does not work for my use case? Reach out to your UiPath representative, to let them know. However, if the number of fields you need to extract exceeds 20, switch to UiPath Helix Extractor 2.0 (IXP-Comms).
