Minor improvements
We are constantly working to improve your Document Understanding experience. For this release, we made minor improvements and security fixes to stabilize the behavior for some of the available features presented in ML packages.
Improvements
- This release improves the OCR models's capability to distinguish between between the letter "O" and the number "0".
- Improved OCR accuracy for scenarios where higher-resolution images previously resulted in lower recognition performance.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where separate extracted fields, such as Month and Day, or City and State, were incorrectly concatenated and merged into a single field value.
- Fixed an issue where UiPath Document OCR and Extended Languages OCR misinterpreted the letter “I” at the end of invoice IDs, recognizing it as a different character.
- Fixed an issue where UiPath Document OCR incorrectly digitized certain characters. Character recognition has been improved to better distinguish between similar symbols.
- Fixed an issue where AI Center skills would not deploy correctly in Automation Suite environments configured with IPv6-only networking.
Breaking changes
The minimum required CUDA version for running Document Understanding models on GPU has been updated. Starting with version 2.2510.1, the minimum supported CUDA version is 12.8.0.
