Task Mining initialization issue in Kerberos
Description
The Task Mining service may fail to initialize in Kerberos environments due to:
- A missing
kerberos-discoverygroup-user-keytabsecret. - The
discoverygroupapp not being included in theenabledAppsparameter of theIntegratedAuthapp.
Solution
To address the issue, take the following steps:
- Create the missing
kerberos-discoverygroup-user-keytabsecret. You can duplicate an existing keytab secret and name the new one askerberos-discoverygroup-user-keytab. - Add
discoverygroupto theenabledAppsparameter in theIntegratedAuthapp configuration.
Once you make these changes, restart the relevant services and confirm that Task Mining initializes successfully.
