Overview
The following sections describe the current release cycle for UiPath® products.
Self-hosted server products run with UiPath Automation Suite, or as standalone server products, such as UiPath Orchestrator. UiPath desktop products include Studio, Assistant, and Robot.
Long-Term Support (LTS) - We offer one annual release for self-hosted server delivery options and desktop products, typically in October, delivered as a Long-Term Support (LTS) version. You can also check out the blog post about simplifying the update cycle with annual self-host release.
Cumulative updates (CUs) - In addition to the LTS release, we provide Cumulative Updates (CUs) throughout the year. These updates include security patches, accessibility improvements, and other important fixes. In 2025, we simplified our release cadence by delivering cumulative updates every three months
Hotfixes - When necessary, we release hotfixes outside the regular CU cycle to address critical issues or vulnerabilities that require immediate attention.
Interim desktop releases - There may be interim releases for desktop products to take full advantage of new capabilities that would otherwise be available only in Automation Cloud™.
These regular updates and on-demand hotfixes ensure customers stay secure, stable, and up to date throughout the year without waiting for the next LTS release.
