(Preview) Document Understanding dashboard
Prerequisites
Before using the Insights Dashboards, make sure that you meet the following conditions:
- Enable Document Understanding™ and Insights services for your tenant.
Note:
Insights dashboards are only available for Document Understanding and Insights on Automation Cloud™.
- You are using Studio v2022.10, or higher.
- You enabled in Studio the option for checking the telemetry data by going to Settings -> General → Telemetry → Send anonymous usage data.
- Have Robot send telemetry data.
- The Activities packages used in your workflows must have one of the following versions:
- UiPath.IntelligentOCR.Activities v6.6.0, or higher.
- UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.ML.Activities v1.17.0, or higher.
- UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities v2.2.1, or higher.
Overview
Access the Document Understanding Dashboard to visualize metrics and charts about your Document Understanding projects.
All Document Understanding projects are processed when generating these metrics.
Filter your Insights dashboards
There are multiple ways to filter a dashboard. For an accurate and better understanding of the available options, let's go through all the options.
Filter a Document Understanding™ dashboard
Several options are available for filtering the data displayed in the dashboard:
- Period
- Seconds spent per document
- Reload the information
- Hide/Show filters
- Clear cache
- Download the available information
- Schedule a delivery
- Reset filters
- Select timezone

| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Period | Select the time period for which the information is displayed.
|
| Process name (available only for Document Understanding Processes) | Select one, multiple, or all the processes to be taken into account when information in generated in the dashboard. |
| Seconds spent per document | Select the time a user spends on processing a document. |
| Reload the information | Refresh the available information. |
| Hide/Show filters | Choose if the filters are visible or not in the dashboard. |
| Clear cache | Clear all data. |
| Download the available information | Download the information presented in the dashboard in a PDF or CSV format. |
| Schedule a delivery | Schedule a dashboard export recurrence (daily, monthly, weekly, or on a specific day). Available formats are PDF, CSV zip file, or PNG visualization. |
| Reset filters | Reset all customized filters. |
| Select timezone | Choose the timezone to be used for all filters and options that are using date as reference. |
| Viewer timezone (available only for Document Understanding Processes) | Choose the viewer timezone. |
Download the available information
You can customize the download of your dashboard information. Go to the menu icon, select the Download option, and customize it as needed.
Here are all available options for customizing a download:
- Paper Size - select the desired paper size: Fit page to dashboard, Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5.
- Expand tables to show all rows - choose if all rows should appear or not in the export file. Large tables may render as plain text or limit displayed rows.
- Arrange dashboard tiles in a single column - all information is displayed one on top of the other.
You can also choose to:
- Open the file in Browser
- Download the file
Schedule a delivery
You can schedule the delivery of an email with your dashboard data. Go to the menu icon, select the Schedule Deliveryoption, and customize it as needed.

| Format | Set the format of your scheduled delivery. | |
| Test now | Test the schedule delivery option. | |

| Seconds spent per document | Set the amount of time a user spends processing a document. | |
| Advanced options | Custom Message | Add a custom message to your scheduled delivery. |
| Include links | Include accessible links to your scheduled delivery. | |
| Expand tables to show all rows | Choose if all rows should appear or not in the export. | |
| Arrange dashboard tiles in a single column | Choose if information should be displayed one on top of the other. | |
| Paper size | Select the desired paper size: Fit page to dashboard, Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5. | |
| Delivery timezone | Choose the timezone to be used for your scheduled delivery. | |
| Test now | Test the settings for your scheduled delivery. |
