important :
Data Service is currently transitioning to Data Fabric, a process during which you may see both names used for different delivery options.
Base URL
Base URL values for the Data Service API across Automation Cloud, Automation Cloud Public Sector, and Automation Cloud Dedicated.
Depending on the cloud platform you are using, use the associated Base URL:
- Automation Cloud:
https://cloud.uipath.com/{organizationName}/{tenantName}/datafabric_/api - Automation Cloud Public Sector:
https://govcloud.uipath.us/{organizationName}/{tenantName}/dataservice_/api - Automation Cloud Dedicated:
https://<customURL>.dedicated.uipath.com/{organizationName}/{tenantName}/dataservice_/api
Responses for an unresolved organization, tenant, or service
If the organization, tenant, or service in the request URL can't be resolved, the API gateway handles the request and doesn't forward it to Data Fabric. No data is created, read, or modified. The response depends on the Accept request header:
Accept header value | Response status | Response body |
|---|---|---|
Includes application/json | 404 Not Found | JSON error |
Any other value, such as */*, or header not set | 200 OK | HTML page |
Important:
To detect an invalid organization, tenant, or service name in your automation, set the Accept: application/json header on every request. Without this header, a 200 OK status doesn't confirm that the request reached Data Fabric.
