Moving an app to .NET 10
Move a published VB expression app from .NET 6 to .NET 10 by checking its expressions in UiPath Apps Studio and publishing a new version.
Apps published before the .NET 10 upgrade keep running on .NET 6. Publishing a new version moves the app to .NET 10. For background, see VB expressions on .NET 10.
Moving a standalone app
- Open the app in UiPath Apps Studio.
- Fix any expressions that UiPath Apps Studio marks as errors.
- Preview the app.
- Confirm that the app pages and rules work as expected.
- Publish a new version of the app. For details, see Managing app versions.
- Update the deployed app in Orchestrator to the new version.
The app runs on .NET 10 from the new version onward.
Moving an app in a solution
- Follow steps 1 to 5 in Moving a standalone app for the source app.
- Add the new app version to the solution.
- Publish a new solution package.
- Deploy the new package version.
- Activate the deployment.
During activation, Apps rebuilds the app on .NET 10. For details, see Apps in Solutions Management.
