New assignment criteria options for agent escalations
New assignment criteria options are now available for agent escalations, giving you more flexibility when routing human-in-the-loop tasks.
In addition to the existing options, you can now assign escalations using the following criteria:
- Workload: Routes each escalation to the selected group member with the fewest pending tasks.
- All users in group: Offers the escalation to every member of the selected group, so any one of them can pick it up.
- Round Robin: Distributes escalations across group members in rotation, helping spread assignments evenly over time.
- LLM inferred: Lets the agent determine the recipient at runtime based on a prompt you provide, then validates the assignee against your directory.
Existing agent configurations are unaffected. Your current recipient settings are preserved and continue to work as before. For more information, see Escalations.
